We're starting something new and we need your help!

It's $5 Friday!!!

Every month we have a SMILE which we share with another organization or person. We have heard from several people that they would love to give but don't feel like a small donation would make any difference. Soooo, now on Fridays, we will have a campaign to show how a bunch of "small" donations can make a huge difference!

Our first $5 Friday is going to fund our Easter Egg hunt for children in foster care through Methodist Children's Home in Lubbock. Of course, we'll except donations larger than $5 but we want to give everyone an opportunity to help...so here goes!

3rd Annual Share Warmth & Smiles Coat Drive

It's time for our 3rd Annual Share Warmth & Smiles Coat Drive!

We are collecting NEW and GENTLY USED coats, hats, gloves and scarves for all sizes and ages. These will be distributed at Covenant Children's Hospital and across the South Plains to those in need.

Welcome to October!

This past weekend was the 3rd Annual Trooper McDonald Memorial Race benefiting Brynne's Smiles. WOW! What a turn out! A special thanks to Laura & Kacyn McDonald for continuing to support Brynne's Smiles through this awesome event. We don't have a total dollar amount raised yet but we should soon.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, runners and walkers for making this such a successful event!

Smiling from Coast to Coast!

Are you smiling? We'd love to have a picture of you and your family wearing your Brynne's Smiles shirts! Make sure you tell us where you are so we can put it on our map. Today was really awesome because we were smiling across the nation. Three people tagged us today and they just "happened" to form a sort of SMILE!

April/May SMILE!

Did you know there are over 1,000 children in foster care in the Lubbock/Amarillo area? Did you know that most of these children move the little amount of things they call their "own" in trash bags or grocery sacks?

It breaks our heart to hear this, so we're adding a SMILE for April & May. We are collecting all sizes of suitcases and duffle bags to share with these children. They don't have to be new, just in good shape.

The items will be donated to The Bair Foundation in Lubbock and the Lubbock Children's Home. If you're like us, you only have to walk to a closet to find some of these items you can live without!

April's SMILE!

We are collecting new & used (but still in decent shape) youth baseball and softball equipment. Gloves, cleats, pants, etc or $$ to buy these type of items. These items will be donated to kids who need them. If you know of any kids that need these items please let us know! (P.S. the kids do not have to play in Post)

March's SMILE!

A friend of ours is organizing an Easter egg hunt for Lubbock Methodist Children's home on March 31st. 
Items needed are as follows:
approx. 40 more Easter baskets 
candy, small toys, and stickers to stuff plastic 1600 Easter eggs

Happy Birthday Connor! & Another BIG Announcement

Meet Connor! He's 4! and he's sharing his birthday party with Brynne's Smiles. Connor & his family have arranged for part of the proceeds from every meal tonight at McAlister's to go to funding our new program called "Miles for Smiles". Come eat with us tonight from 5-10pm at McAlister's Deli on 82nd in Lubbock and help us share SMILES with more people! Doesn't he have an adorable SMILE?!

February's SMILE!

It's a Movie Drive!!!! We are collecting new & used DVDs. These DVDs will be donated to Child Life at Covenant Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House! (We're asking for movies that will appeal to all ages but no rated R movies & DVD only please.) Drop off locations: Post - Post Tire & Lube, Mason Brothers, and First Baptist Church Christian School. Coats, Coats & More Coats!!!!

And the total count of coats is................(that's a drum roll!) 276 coats, 46 hats, 7 scarves, and 60 pairs of gloves! In my mind I knew we would get 50 and was hoping for 100! Isn't our God amazing???? Thank you all for donating. We are not only going to share with the Children's Hospital at Covenant but also Tent City in Lubbock, several individual families, Lubbock Dream Center and Golden Plains Care Center in Post.

A huge thank you to Caprock Discount Pharmacy, Porter Hardware, First Baptist Church Christian School, Post Tire & Lube and Garza County Animal Hospital for graciously being drop off locations. You made us SMILE!

October's SMILE!

October's SMILE is here! Since it's getting cooler (Thank you Lord!) we have been asked to help Child Life at Covenant Children's Hospital with a coat drive (we'll accept hats, scarves & gloves too). They don't have to be new but they do need to be in good shape. All sizes are needed because they serve children newborn through 18 years old. Let's help them make sure no sick child leaves the hospital without a coat. So go clean out those closets and lets share some WARM SMILES!! I'll even come pick them up! You can donate for new coats by clicking "How Can I Smile?"...just put coat drive in the notes section.

August SMILE!

We had another SMILE planned for August but God had something else planned!!! AND not only have you shared a SMILE with us, but with the overwhelming number of you donating blood and platelets in Brynne's name we shared a SMILE with four other children on our floor in one day. Keep it up donors...there are precious children and who need your donations every day.

Help us continue this SMILE by donating regularly!
Not only was there one drive but there were TWO in Post as well as one in Midland and a massive amount of people who went to United Blood Services in Lubbock to donate. I know I keep saying this but there are NO words to express how humbled, joyful, thankful and blessed we are.
